Our planet is the biggest treasure we have, and it is very important to learn how to take care of the environment from a young age. And something tells us that robots can be of a great help 😉

This week our Makers Marathon carried out the theme of the ENVIRONMENT. We asked our talented young coders to create an eco-friendly robot and tell us how exactly he will help to make our beautiful planet a more sustainable place. And they amazed us yet again! Let’s take a look at the amazing projects that our talented STEM wizards have created!

A Soybean Cultivation Robo

Lorenz and Peter have participated in every challenge and constantly amaze us with their creativity. This time they have created a very practical Soybean-Cultivation-Robo which makes planting crops so much easier. Robo swiftly drives across the field and sows soybean seeds which roll down to the ground through the built-in gutter. He also rotates periodically looking around to make sure that he has not missed a spot. Such a good way to promote a plant-based, sustainable lifestyle. Well done guys! 😉

A Flower Saving Robo

Looking after flowers are so important because they provide nectar for the insects. Unfortunately, so many of them die when mowing the grass. That’s why Mira and Jonathan have invented a Flower-Saving-Robo and gave him a task to carefully watch out for the flowers while cutting grass. thanks to its gentle work, all flowers remain safe. Great job, guys! 🙌

An Elemental Ice Dragon

here is yet another outstanding winner of the challenge! Iona is our 5-year-old coding superstar who each time comes up with incredible stories and new coding solution for her project.  This time she has created an Ice Dragon who rescues ocean inhabitants by eating rubbish and transforming it into ice cubes. Check out the amazing decorations - we really felt like we were on the in the middle of the Arctic Ocean watching this majestic dragon doing his good deeds. What a great way to take care of the environment, Iona. We applaud!

Street Sweeper Robo

And another incredible invention from our permanent participant. Remlaupi has transformed Robo into a very practical street sweeper. He thoroughly cleans the garbage with his yellow brushes, living not a single speck of dust on the street. We would really like to have his small version in our office ;) Great job!

That is all we have in store for this week. So many amazing submissions, so much inspiring talent, and jaw-dropping creativity. We’re so very proud of our Robo Wunderkind coders! Want to create projects and share them with us? The submission for the current #RoboMakersMarathon with the topic of ART is still open until May 10th – so don’t wait and join!

If you don’t have Robo Wunderkind yet, now is the perfect time to invest in your children’s STEM skills. Get them here.
